Little Purple House is our heart center
It was our dream to have a house and land of our very own. If at first you didn’t have my vision, our house was an underwhelming property, if not downright tragic. Blood, sweat and a few tears, we transformed our house into a beautiful home that is just perfect for us! Why purple? Well, when you can’t decide on a house color, you ask your 3 year old daughter to pick! In 2014, our fixer-upper was painted purple, bringing life to our small home. We have since resided and stained the exterior black, but we will forever reference our beloved home our Little Purple House.
We want to inspire creativity, and the power of DIY
Products don’t just come from a super market, box store, or online shopping. It is important to us to raise our children surrounded by gardens that provide fresh produce. To study our bees who show us the magic of pollination and honey. Provide care for chickens, benefitting from their amazing ability to forage and provide protein. And use our heads and hands exploring the art of crafting, painting, building, and my personal favorite, sewing and quilting! Little Purple House is here to share the bounty of our harvest, knowledge of our homesteading adventures, and the beauty of our handcrafted art!
